The Pine Court & Dutch Garden

Beyond The Pool Garden towards the house is The Pine Court. This is planted as a white garden with beautiful Hydrangea Macrophylla Lanarth White, Tricyrtis and Phlox David. Under the pergola Ferns, Disporums and Hellebores provide a narrow strip of excitement.

As you go through the door you come into the intimate space that is The Dutch Garden with wonderful tree Peonies Akashigata, Shimano Fuji, and Cardinal Vaughan, Hydrangea Aspera Mauvette provides a recurring theme and in the four central beds Rosa ‘Cecile Brunner’ with Dahlia Merkii scrambling through. In the far corner are three Pileostegia Viburnoides to brighten the dark shade. As you leave The Dutch Garden up the steps to The Terrace border, on the right an Indigofera Howelii flowers and flowers all summer and on the right an Akebia Longeracemosa.
